LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY - QBO EXPERIENCE A MUST!

Click IT, a growing managed IT services franchise, seeks a detail-oriented, proactive professional with a tax preparation and accounting background. This role is ideal for individuals who have experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) and tax accounting software (such as ProConnect), and who want to develop their skills in a dynamic, growth-oriented environment. Initially, this is a two-month, full-time engagement focused on tax preparation and bookkeeping. If funding is secured and both parties are interested, the position can transition into a long-term, permanent role with broader financial responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tax Preparation & Compliance:
  • Prepare and review tax returns using QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Intuit ProConnect.
  • Collaborate with senior accountants on tax accounting matters, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Accounting & Bookkeeping:
  • Preparation and maintenance of financial statements (balance sheets, income statements).
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely processing of invoices and accurate recordkeeping.
  • Support the month-end and year-end close processes, including adjustments and financial reporting.
  • Financial Analysis & Planning:
  • Contribute to financial planning by assisting in budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Help ensure adherence to regulatory reporting requirements by maintaining accurate records and documentation.
  • Provide financial data and analysis for potential mergers, acquisitions, or private equity considerations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience in tax preparation and a strong understanding of tax regulations is required.
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and experience using Intuit ProConnect or similar tax software.
  • Solid understanding of general accounting principles, including balance sheet reconciliations and GAAP standards.
  • Exposure to corporate accounting, tax accounting, and familiarity with M&A or private equity concepts is a plus.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
